WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO YOU IN THIS NEW SEASON? THE POWER OF HEARING GOD AFRESH FOR YOUR LIFE - PART II
4. WE HAVE TO SEPERATE OURSELVES FROM SIN, GREED, AND IDOLATRY AND WALK IN A RENEWED FEAR OF THE LORD. In Joshua chapter 7 we see a very unfortunate thing happen among the nation of Israel. God was blessing them and allowing them to experience great victory in their lives when God points out that some of the people aren't walking rightly before Him: "The Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! What are you doing down on your face? Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions." Joshua then had the tribes come before him to find out who had sinned against the Lord. Ultimately, a man named Achan from the tribe of Judah was identified and he confessed this, "Achan replied, “It is true! I have sinned against the Lord, the God of Israel. This is what I have done: When I saw in the plunder a beautiful robe from Babylonia, two hundred shekels of silver and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. They are hidden in the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath.” (Joshua 7:20-22) Our lesson? Let's not let the trappings of this world contaminate our walk and relationship with Jesus. We must stay pure in our hearts, minds, motivations, and actions.
5. WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR UNIQUE ALIGNMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS TO SEE OUR LAND EXPANDED AS WELL AS THE KINGDOM EXPANDED. In Joshua chapter 4:12 we see an interesting line of scripture, "The men of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over, ready for battle, in front of the Israelites, as Moses had directed them." If you know the backstory on this event you'll remember in the book of Numbers chapter thirty-two that these three tribes desired to settle on the east side of the Jordan and not cross over into the promised land. Moses, however, charged them to first help Israel receive their land and promises and then they would be released to receive their land. The conclusion of the matter? Israel and the three tribes both prospered and expanded through their collaborative efforts. Who has God called you to come alongside in this season? Who can help you take more land in your life and more land for the kingdom? Listen for who God has aligned you with during this time. I believe He has divine partnerships for you and your E4 this year.
We can't wait to see all that the Lord has in store for you and for us in 2026 as we seek Him freshly!

One of the more exciting developments locally for E4 MISSIONS is the unique opportunity to partner with Todd Engstrom and the Austin Mission Society. Todd was the longtime Executive Pastor for The Austin Stone Community Church, one of Texas' largest churches with close to 9,000 in weekly attendance, and now leads GAMS. The Greater Austin Mission Society exists to serve, connect, and support churches, ministries, non-profits, leaders, and disciples in Austin and is having great impact. Its goal is to work together with disciples, leaders, churches, and ministries to advance the gospel, care for the marginalized, and equip leaders for effective service locally and globally.
